Terrible game for the Sens last night.... Ryan looked (frank)ing lost all weekend long,
We played better without him in the lineup

Bobby Ryan has become a liability to this team. He's gone from being an overpaid guy who can still contribute a bit, to a guy who is actually making the players around him WORSE.

This guy had almost a month off with a broken finger. He should have used that month to work on his staking and get into the gym and get in better shape. That time also would have healed any minor bumps and bruises he may have had. He SHOULD have come back fresher and in better shape than ever with a bounce in his stride.

Instead, he's come back slower and weaker than ever with a whole new level of not giving a f**k. He's always the first on his line to change and he doesn't even try to win puck battles anymore.

It's so obvious in the guy's face that he just doesn't care at all. Kovalev is possibly the only other player I ever seen in a Sens jersey with that much of lack of caring.

I know it's hard to sit a guy who makes 7M, but at least bury him on the 4th line for god sakes. This is going beyond affecting one player. It's affecting the entire system. Boucher's system is about speed and being first on puck. Ryan was never a great skater, so that means he has to try extra hard to win battles and be in the right place at the right time. He's doing neither.. and doesn't seem to give a crap.

doesn't anyone read Tanner's blog? none of this matters. the Leafs are clearly the best team in the Atlantic. they're just getting screwed by the league's OT format.

Anyone worried about Anderson at this point? Did not look sharp vs a playoff team. Think that is a bigger issue than Bobby Ryan.

1. Why did Anderson play last night? That was no good for anyone.

2. How is it possible to execute a "powerplay" as poorly as Ottawa did last night? I guaranteed my 10 year old that it is impossible for him to ever see something so bad again

3. Every game they play without Stone makes me an even bigger Stone fan.

4. Slightly concerning that only Chris Kelly got angry enough to drop the gloves last night, since garbage games like this one that mean nothing in the long run and are already decided are the ideal time for a bit of Gallagher bashing etc.

2 years ago he also said that phaneuf was a top 10 dman in the league, he said he wouldn't take karlsson on the leafs for free, he said that Clarkson was an impact top six forward, and about a million other things that were retarded.

even stupid people aren't 100% wrong all the time.

dude, the leafs are 1 dman away from being the best team in the entire NHL......I don't even know why we're playing the games, we should just anoint them as the cup champs for the next decade and all watch poker instead.

in truth though i don't know that the Atlantic should bother having a playoff. just let the Metro fight it out and let the Atlantic teams go home early. i don't see anyone in the division who could compete with Washington, Pittsburgh or Columbus in a 7 game series.

I think when both teams are healthy, montreal or Ottawa could give those teams a good run. might not win, but wouldn't get steamrolled either.

Place Ryan on waivers and send him to Bingo for a conditioning stint. Get his confidence back and work on his skating. It's pretty sad that it has come to this.

I would've played Condon yesterday. Boucher overthought that one it seems.

Anderson has had about 3 bad games all year. His last two playoff series vs Montreal he played great so I'm not worried.

Call up the Vegas team, offer to eat $15 mill of Ryan's contract and hope they bite.

He can't be the highest paid player and not even be one of the ten best on the team

Prock was wrong 2 years ago. He'd be right today, but since he does just hate on every single Senators player, coach, manager, and fan I can't really give him prophet-cred.

Agreed. Unless his "lower body injury" as an ingrown toenail or something, why does he play back to back nights? No way he should have played both. Especially since Condon played well the last few

What's wrong with playing your #1 on back to back night ? Andy barely
played this season I think he can handle that... specially in games important as those one. And I dont think Condon looked that good in the last few... always in "scramble mode" and give big juicy rebound

Did you forget the few games he missed with a lower body injury? What if he re-injured himself after playing the second night? Yes, big games, but not must win. I know he can get hurt in normal situations...

I dont think Boucher would've played him if he wasn't 100% healthy.

Anderson may have been 'healthy', but he was far from 'good' in net. He may be #1 to Boucher and likely declared 'himself' good to go - but I would rather have seen Condon (who stood on his head when Anderson was hurt) in net to rest Anderson for the more crucial games to come.

Like I said, I dont think Andy needs rest at this point... he barely played this year lol
